We're eating my favorite tonight. Sushi! So here's an outfit that I would rock tonight. I'm still digging florals. I can't enough of it. I'm also loving browns at the moments. I found this cute plaid floral dress on Wetseal.com. I love the hints of browns in it. I paired it up with simple floral earrings again. I also added a charm bracelet. I love the sandals to this outfit. And guess what? They're only $10.00 right now on Wetseal.

My favorite jeans are currently on sale! These are the only type of jeans that I absolutely love. They're #1 on my list for jeans. I rate them a 10/10. The short length jeans fit me well. They're super comfortable. I was so happy to go into Charlotte Russe today to find that they were on sale for $19.99. Yay! I've been needing and wanting new jeans lately. My dark jeans have been fading and I've been getting tired of wearing my usual jeans. I usually like my lapis style but I was excited to see a new style of destroyed. I love destroyed shorts and I have a few by Refuge from Charlotte Russe. Because of this, I had to get a destroyed pant also. Can't wait to rock these jeans!

Swimming in the Summer Looking "Kyoote"

Yesterday, I went to Old Navy. I was looking for swimsuits for the summer and to my surprise the swimsuits were on sale! Each piece costs $10.00. The original price is $16.00 which adds to savings of $6.00. I was ecstatic! I was looking for a plain and solid white and black bottom and top. I don't like my swimsuits to be "matchy". Having a swimsuit top or bottom in black and white allows you to match other swimsuits designs with it.

I got a black top with ruffles, white plain bottom, and a black and white leopard/cheetah print top. I wanted a plain white bottom but there were no extra smalls. I would fit a small but I like my bathing suit bottoms to snug my booty =). I don't like it when I get in the water and the wetness causes my bottom to have that little sag on my behind. It looks like a wet diaper on a baby. I wanted to get a plain black bottom but they only have black bottoms with ruffles. I felt that the ruffles only added more to my hips. I don't wanna look more than what I weigh.

I also went to Forever 21. They also have some cute bathing suits. Better yet they're not on sale but they're still affordable. The bottoms are even cheaper than Old Navy. They cost $9.80. I wanted a bottom to match my black ruffle swimsuit top so I got this one. I love how there's a tie to only one side of the bottom.

Pure Ice Taupe Nails

My favorite nail polish brand at the moment is Pure Ice. As you all know, I like bargain beauty finds so this nail polish fits that. It's affordable at a price of $2.00 and you can find it any drug store. I got mines at Walmart. The color that I'm loving at the moment is taupe drawer. The color is a "light-pink-nude-neutral" color. It's not like others pink where the color stands out. It's a subtle color but yet pretty. I think it's perfect for all skin tones.

Princess Movie with a Bomber

Tonight I went to watch "Princess Ka'iulani." Because I'm from Hawaii and the movie was about a Hawaiian princess, I had to watch it. It was a great movie but I expected more. It didn't meet my expectations. It kept me intrigued though. Overall, I had a great time watching this movie.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you all a jacket that I wore tonight. It's a jacket that suitable for Hawaii's warm weather. It's light weight so it'll keep you warm enough for Hawaii's weather but not hot like a thick jacket. It's also trendy and super comfortable. The cut ends well above your waist so it hugs your figure. I love it. It's one of my favorite staple pieces in my closet. I have it in the color cream but I wanted it in the other neutrals of gray and black. They also come in purple and teal. What I love about it most is how affordable it is. You can't beat $8.00 for such a cute jacket. I wore this jacket, which is in cream, with a cream lace tank top. I paired it with a dark wash skinny jeans. I was gonna wear some wedges but I decided to go comfortable and wear flip flops. I wore my Guess flip flops (I'll do post about these flip flops soon). I highly suggest this jacket so get them now at your local Walmart while they're on sale.

Juicy Jewelry

Ever since DulceCandy from youtube got a Juicy Couture necklace, I've been wanting to get one also. I find it to be a great everyday accessory. Juicy Couture is one of my favorite brands. I love their bags and perfumes but I didn't really pay much attention to their jewelry. But when I saw DulceCandy's necklace, I looked into their jewelry. I've developed the same kind of love towards their bags and perfume towards their jewelry line now.

I want to get these heart stud earrings. I love jewelry with hearts. I have a couple of necklaces with hearts. I do have some heart earrings but they're not studs. These are super cute. They definitely match my style of "kyoote" and "simple". It adds the perfect touch to any outfit without making such a big statement. I also love silvers so these are right pick for me. I'm not so much of a gold fan. I found these earrings on the Juicy Couture site.

I've been browsing on ebay for Juicy Couture jewelry also. I'm not too sure if they're authentic but the sellers claim they are. I'm not sure how to distinguish if they're authentic or not. But if they're not, it's okay with me.  I just love the look of it. Some necklaces are also cheaper on ebay than on the Juicy Couture site. Savings for me.They are a few which are the same price as those on the Juicy Couture site though.

Outfit of the Night - Party and Celebrate the End of Finals

Tonight's gonna be a fun time! We're gonna hang out at the dorms and play some beer pong.

As you can tell by now, my style is "kyoote" and "simple." I don't like going dramatic with my outfits. I'll have a little statement here and there, but not too much. Once again, I have florals! I needed to have another outfit based around florals. I stayed simple with the earrings since the flats and top already make a statement. Didn't want to add heels to this outfit. I wanna be comfortable so I can beat guys in beer pong. I also used wetseal.com's application of boutique to create his outfit like my other Outfit of the Day 2.

The jeans I used in this outfit are called Fashionista Skinny Jean by Blue Asphalt. I have a pair of these and they're great. I highly suggest them but I prefer CharlotteRusse's jeans by Refuge over them. The reason is that they don't have that stretchy material. I like my jeans to stretch and these don't. They do fit me well though just not as perfect as the Refuge jeans. If you're a shorty like me (I'm 5'1"), then the short length is perfect. They're on sale right now; buy one get one half off. One jean costs $26.50.

Outfit of the Day - Frolic in the Park on a Sunny Day

Today's a beautiful perfect sunny day to frolic in the park. I'm bringing my little pitbull puppy with me. She'll love it.

This outfit of the day is "laid-back-comfortable-simple-"summerish"-floral." Once again, I incorporated shorts, gladiators, and floral earrings into the outfit. I'm loving these things at the moment.

You add this to your closet in your boutique. When you're done selecting your items, you'll go to your boutique and put an outfit together. It's a great way to see all the items put together. You could also view other outfits created by others. If you chose a specific type of clothing, accessory, or shoe, you can also view how other people created an outfit around that item. This makes it great to be inspired by other peoples' style or direct how you're going to style an outfit.

Outfit of the Night - Sexy Tulip

I saw this tulip skirt on Forever21 and I thought that I just had to style an outfit around this skirt. I love the detail in the front. That little peak in the middle makes it sexy. I paired it up with a simple black bodysuit to make it more of a night look and to allow the skirt to stand out. I always want one item in my outfit to be the focus. I feel like if too many things to an outfit stands out, it would make it too intricate. Little goes a long way.

Outfit of the Day - School Ends Summer Starts

Spring 2010 semester is finally over! Better yet, finals are over! This outfit portrays my kick off to the summer. I think of it as being simple but yet fun because of the sandals. I wanted the sandals to stand out. Therefore, everything else to the outfit is muted.

Rompers!

A type of clothing that I've been loving at the moment are rompers. They're absolutely cute and adorable. They're also comfortable. They can be casual or be dressed up for a night time look. They're perfect for the summer. It's a type of clothing that's so easy to put an outfit together for.

You can find rompers at almost any store. I bought all of my rompers from ross. I bought them all for less then $20.Super cheap! If you want some bargain rompers, check out ross.

How I would style a romper..
Casual look

I think gladiator flats go perfect with a romper to make a casual look. I think the owl necklace is cute. It adds a pop of color and uniqueness to the outfit. It's a really simple outfit but I feel like the gladiator flats and necklace make it exquisite. All of these items are from Forever 22.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Palette

I've watched some reviews of this palette on youtube. The reviews demonstrated that these palettes are amazing and affordable. Because of this, I had to go to my local Walgreens and pick one up. Because I love my neutral colors, I picked the palette in vanity. I went home and tried it out and the reviews were true.  These palettes are awesome. At a drugstore price of just $5.00, it is definitely affordable. One side of the palette has matte shadows while the other side consists of shimmer shadows. The matte and shimmer shadows allow creations of day or night looks. I want to get the get the greed, pride, and lust palettes next!
