LC Style

Lauren Conrad (LC) came out with a book that's about her style/fashion and style/fashion tips. Besides Vanessa Hudgens, LC is definitely one of my style icons. She has a simple but yet pretty style. It's elegant but not too much. She doesn't go overboard to a point where it's too intricate with her outfits. I love her. I'm excited about this book. I want to go pick up a copy now.

Banging!

I have side bangs and I usually cut them on my own with my scissors. Here's a video of an interesting way to cut bangs. She uses a razor to cut her bangs. When she said that she uses a razor, I thought she meant one of those razors made just for cutting hair. It's really a razor used to shave your legs. I tried doing this the other day and my bangs came out great.

I love JLovesMac1. She's super funny and entertaining to watch. She's my favorite beauty guru on youtube.

The Little Black Dress

Here's a dress that I would love to add to my collection of little black dresses. I love the sweetheart neckline and how it can be dressed up casual or formal. I found this dress on ebay by searching Japan fashion.

Eskinol

I love this facial cleanser. It is a product of the Philippines but it does wonders for my skin. This product prevents pimples, lightens skin, and removes excess oil and dirt. There are reviews online that say it is drying for your skin, but I find no problem with it. My skin is a combination of oily and dry. It successfully removed excess oil and dirt from my face. I have the classic version of this facial cleanser but they also come in papaya, cucumber, avocado, and lemon. I want to try the papaya one next. I highly suggest this beauty product.

What Time Is It?

I've been wanting a watch for awhile now. Being a nursing major, a watch is must to take vitals on patients. I find myself staring at the wall clocks while doing vitals which is a little difficult since you have maneuver yourself. Having a watch at hand will make things easier. So I've been searching and I've come across these two choices. What do you think I should choose?

Booties

Living in Hawaii, boots aren't such a major necessity. Flip flops and open toe footwear are so I have a lot of those! Since fall is here and I don't own a pair, I've been wanting to own some booties. I want some ankle booties. I found some super cute pairs on forever21.com.

Here's what I would buy.
I want it both black and brown. I'm not usually the type that buys the same type of clothing or footwear in different colors but these booties are an exception. I love the simple detailing. I definitely will buy these.
I'm not really a fan of studs. I thought these booties were cute but I don't think it would be my "go to" booties. It would be a great item to add to my closet though. I like adding different pieces to my wardrobe that I wouldn't think I would wear.

1 Shoulder

I've been wanting a one shoulder dress and I haven't found a perfect one yet. I want a one shoulder dress in preferably with the sleeves 3/4 length. I've been searching online and I found a couple that I like on amiclubwear.com.

Here are my likes

Concealer

I'm sorry I've been neglecting my blog. I've been so busy with school. Projects, studying, papers, and more studying were the activities that took a huge part of my days. You know how that goes. This is the first weekend where I can actually not worry about school work. Yay!

This is one of the best drugstore concealers that I've come across. I've tried many other concealers before I came across this. I've tried the NYX stick concealer, Covergirl liquid concealer, and Maybelline mineral concealer but this concealer works best for me.

It's the Maybelline dream mousse concealer. What I like about it is that it conceals my dark eye circles, matches my skin complexion perfectly, and still looks great even after a long day of school.

Here's a video review and tutorial of this concealer

Dolman

Fall is here. Therefore cold weather is here. There's not much of a change in weather here in Hawaii, but there are some days where it can be chilly especially with the island showers. I was looking around online for semi-warm attire that I could add to my closet (my closet consists mostly of tanks, sleeveless tops, etc.) and I came across these dolman tops on forever21.com. They're also a bargain at $10.80. I love how they're slouchy and loose fitting. You could also use them off the shoulder too.
